Description
LOS BEATLES - WHITE ALBUM / APPLE SAPL 30504-05 / 1974 / Stereo / Rare Uruguayan ONLY demo pressing that comes in an special demo jacket. Gioscia S.A. the company who had the publication rights for all EMI/Odeon (Apple) releases at the times, was also the owner of a mega records store named "Palacio de la Música", the jacket shown here was a custom jacket that I guess was intended for internal and/or promotional purposes, this one has an EMI banner with both EMI, Odeon & Apple logos and the words, "Propaganda, Difusión y Ventas" (Marketing, Promotion & Sales). I found this odd variation at an old radio station vault. Promo ink stamp can be seen on the A side label of the 2 lp's and it includes a sheet with the same pictures that appear inside of the gatefold of the Uruguayan regular edition of this double lp, check the pictures. Jacket that comes housed inside a sealed protective plastic bag is in VG++ condition with just some moderate wear on the outer plastic bag. Discs are both VG+ with some hairlines & scuffs, they play fine all through with some background surface noise & no skips Don't miss the chance to add this VERY RARE item to your collection!! This odd variation was found at a radio station vault. A Must Have for Hardcore Kraftwerk Collectors!!
