The Beatles---"The Beatles (White Album)"---Original UK Press Stereo Double Album In VG+ to EX Playing Condition On The Apple Label---1, 1, 2 and 1 From 1968---Top Loading Sleeve With Low Number 0061424---With Black Inners, 4 Photos And Poster
This is a UK pressing from 1968 in stereo on the Apple label, cat. no. PCS 7067/8 with matrices 1, 1, 2 and 1.
Vinyl: VG+ to NM. The vinyl is in nice condition with a great shine. Side 1 (VG+) has just a couple of very fine hairlines and plays with just a little surface noise. No ticks. Side 2 (VG+) has a few more light hairlines and plays the same as side 1. Side 3 (EX) has just 1 wispy hairline and plays with a little light surface noise. Side 4 (VG+) has more hairlines and a few scuffs and plays EX+ at the start but has some light ticking at the end of track 1.
Labels: EX. Labels are in lovely condition with no markings. There are fairly heavy use spindle lines.
Sleeve: EX. The shiny, laminated, top loading, flipback, gatefold sleeve is in solid condition with a little edge and corner wear and the normal light discolouration. Flips are nice and solid and there is just a little creasing. There is a little ring wear to the front and back. The embossed title is nicely standing up and it has the early low number 0061424. The laminate on the spine is a bit cracked, as is normal for a lot of these.
Poster: The poster is in G+ condition as it has some splits and some inked references.
Photos: The 4 photos are in EX+ condition with a lovely finish.
Inner Sleeves: The 2 black, die cut inner sleeves are in VG condition being a little limp from age and there are 2 x 1cm tears in the centre of one of them. There are no splits on the edges.
With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
