Description
THE BEATLES is the title of the record, more affectionately known as 'The White Album'. Four sides of great Beatles sounds from a musically matured foursome with no studio constraints. By this time they were also starting to branch out on their own separate ideas and songs, and there was perhaps also a competitive edge coming through - resulting in one of the finest records ever made! This issue is an un-numbered, side-entry MONO release. John Lennon himself had a lot of regard for the Mono version of this album, perhaps he preferred the mix or general sound of this medium - in his influences it was the one he grew up with! Okay, here are the pressing details; APPLE PMC 7068 matrix # XEX 709-2/710-2 on the first disc, XEX 711-4/712-2 on the second. All photos and paperwork included and in top shape. British vinyl is quality, no pressing 'shadow' or defects present. Discs are both in NM condition except side 2 which has a light surface mark which does NOT sound and is not in any way deep, making it VG++ grade. Lables are all spotless, records perhaps played a couple of times only. The cover is EX, complete, clean, no creases, light wear only. A lovely copy of this famous record, and a rare edition!!
