Description
For auction the Beatles classic 1968 UK 1st pressing (STEREO) double Vinyl album ... The white album! serial number No, 0404678 with its original black innersleeves, poster and the three of the four prints!
Condition. the gatefold laminated flipbacked top loading sleeve is in a VERY GOOD + clean overall condition, with no damage or heavy creasing, the wide spine is superb! both loading edges are sharp and unthumbed. and the embossed BEATLES LOGO and serial number are clear to the front panel! the word stereo is printed to the top right rear panel, making this the original and correct sleeve! please note this sleeve would be excellent except that the album was stored in a loft for 25yrs and the front and rear panel has creased slightly, that said the cover has retained its original whiteness!
The two original black inners are also in nice condition and both grade VERY GOOD The original uk "kiss lips" poster is in a VERY GOOD condition! the three card prints one of each beatle are graded EXCELLENT. ... "paul is missing"
All four apple labels hold the SOLD IN THE UK etc. text and are in a superb condition and easily grade EX
VINYLS. SIDE 1. YEX 709-1 2 M is in a clean EXCELLENT MINUS condition with a nice original shine!
SIDE 2. YEX 710-1 1 P is also in a very nice condition as side1. and also grades EXCELLENT MINUS
SIDE 3. YEX 711-1 3 HL grades EXCELLENT nice and clean and playtested with no problems!
SIDE 4. YEX 712-1 1 GDG grades EXCELLENT MINUS all four sides have been play tested and sounded great in STEREO on my TECHNICS DECK and CLASS AA amp with MISSION SPEAKERS, and a nice overall shine to the vinyl is retained, all discs lie flat on the turntable with no warp or dish effect! ... these discs are in a beautiful condition! 1-1-1-1 MATRIX
overall then a nice original uk 1968 1st stereo pressing of the white album which the previous owner had from new! .. the sleeve has seen storage wear from being stored in a cold loft, but the discs have been preserved in a superb condition! and nothing has been added to this set or taken away! ... a matching set of matrix/stamper codes and all the original inserts except the paul print! and in a very clean condition. please note that the discs will be packed separate in anti static bags! And buy with confidence.... i usually get my gradings right (see feedback!) ...or your money back!
