Apple Records "THE BEATLES"
This is an original, very low numbered, Los Angeles, CA pressing of The Beatles album (White Album).
CONDITION:
Laminated vintage white cover with an embossed 'The Beatles' on the front, 'Stereo' at the top right corner of the back cover and 'The Beatles Stereo SWBO 101' on the rigid spine. The gatefold cover contains a serial 0017818 number stamp at the bottom right corner.
The vinyl has some marks and light scratches that only occasionally can be heard. Play tests VG+. The cover retains its glossy laminated surface with some seam splitting, mostly on the top and bottom of the front cover, that has been repaired. True 1st print Manufactured by Apple Records pressed by Capitol Records Pressing Plant SWBO-101 catalog number stereo green Apple Records labels with a 'Manufactured By Apple Records. Inc.' rim print on the slice side of the label.
Original very early first thick glossy vinyl pressing with the correct, early matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl. The full matrix numbers in this set are as follows:
Side 1: SWBO1-101-J41 *
Side 2: SWBO-2-101-J40 *
Side 3: SWBO3-101-J40: *
Side 4: SWBO 4-101-J41 *
The * stamp identifies this as a pressing by the Los Angeles, CA pressing plant.
