The original *FIRST* UK pressing of the release from the Beatles.
This 1963 British pressing LP is a special album of early BEATLES albums, and was the follow-up to the debut "Please Please Me" ...and at a time when the boys were causing manic fervour - singles shooting to the toppermost of the poppermost British charts!
At the time of this lable issue, MONO was the common medium.
Also, this was snapped up immediately from off the store shelves, and this initial pressing sold out in a day or two.
It's THIS 1st lable that was mistakenly put out on the first run of copies, then promptly corrected for all subsequent copies - making it an instant collectable.
This has seen several plays over the years as it should - but obviously with care, as there are few surface marks, and only very superficial when they're visible.
Not a MINT copy then, but very respectable, and very seldom found like this.
Playing clearly, strong album especially in MONO - which was clearly the better master of this lp!
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades EXCELLENT, track 1 side 2 has a couple of skips (no obvious scratches) and might even be fixed with some care. The groove has been 'crossed' in a couple of revolutions.
Sold as is then.
Yellow on Black PARLOPHONE Lables are VG+, no stains, stickers or pen.
Light centre hole wear & spindle lines.
The LAMINATED original 'extra dark' Garrod & Lofthouse *3-FLIPBACK* COVER is VG+, a flat example, small wrinkles from handling.
The rear has a little staining, all text is all clear - as seen in the photos.
The inner cover is included, it has a little splitting
