THE BEATLES: WITH THE BEATLES

A close to perfect 'Stereo' copy of the Beatles second album. Early stereo Beatles pressings are a rarity in themselves, and the very short lived 'Jobete' 1st press even rarer. (For those that don't know, the last track money was incorrectly accredited to Jobete instead of Dominion Belinda, quickly corrected and a new batch of presses were issued).

A very early first stereo pressing indicated by:

  • Large “Stereo” Sleeve
  • Jobete Credit for “Money”
  • “Parlophone Co…” rim wording - first press indicator
  • No “Sold in the UK…” statement - first press indicator
  • K.T tax code on side 1 label

COUNTRY: UK

LABEL: Parlophone

CATALOGUE NUMBER: PCS 3045

MATRIX NUMBERS: YEX 110-2 & YEX 111-2

GRADING

SLEEVE: EX

The sleeve is in beautiful clean condition. The edges are sharp and clean with the spine being beautiful. The surfaces are free from any damage or wear except for a small surface tear to the top of the rear of the sleeve (this doesn’t affect any text) and a couple of very light laminate wrinkles to the front of the sleeve. The rear is very nice and clean and free from any staining or discolouration with the flip backs being beautifully tight and free from any dirt build up.

RECORD: EX

The record is in superb clean condition with just a couple of very light and entirely inconsequential surface marks visible under bright light. Genuinely fantastic.

The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

IF YOU DISAGREE WITH MY GRADING (Which is hope is very unlikely) PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK.

Records shipped in dedicated record mailer with two stiffeners.

Postage costs:

U.K - £4.60

US - £7.70

Europe (Including Russia) - £5.45

Australia / New Zealand / Fiji: - £8.10

Rest of the world - £7.70

I calculate postage using the Royal mail postage calculator. I charge an extra 50p for packing materials as i buy specialist record mailers and stiffeners. Sometimes records cost less to mail than i expect. In these cases i try to refund the difference. However, as I mail a number of records at one time i occasionally lose track of who paid what postage for what record. RATHER THAN LEAVING LESS THAN 5 STAR FEEDBACK, IF YOU HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED FOR POSTAGE PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I WILL IMMEDIATELY REFUND YOU THE DIFFERENCE.
