Description
First pressing of 'With The Beatles.'
This is much more rare than most originals as it's a legit stereo first press, noted by the incorrect 'Jobete' credit for the side 2 track 'Money.'
It was corrected shortly after.
Most copies at this time (1963) were made in mono because most people didn't have stereo record players.
So there are far fewer of these first press stereos - and they are only going up and up in rarity and value.
I always try to be honest as possible in the description so you know what you're getting ...
It's in good overall condition for its age, but does have some wear. I'd describe it as used, but looked after over the years. I've had it for about 5 or 6 years and barely listened to it at all.
The disc visually has light marks to both sides, but nothing too bad. The labels are clean but do have a little play wear (pictured).
The cover has some age-related creasing to the front - and a split to the spine (approx 6"). But it's still pretty sturdy and strong with all the flipbacks in tact.
The emitex inner is original and no splits or tears or anything.
I listened to it through and it played fine.
The stampers are hard to see but look like 3/AD and 1/LR (approx) So get yourself an increasingly rare early stereo copy of a classic. Not mint condition, but still a good (for its age) overall copy.
Low start price. I will send the LP in a separate inner to protect the original inner sleeve.
