1963 Release On Parlophone. cat No. PMC 1206
Date Stamp On The Reverse Of The Sleeve Says 'Dec 1963'
The main differentiator of this 1st pressing, compared to later versions, is the black & yellow Parlophone label with perimeter rim copyright text beginning, 'THE PARLOPHONE CO LTD...', and the text 'RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1963' above the side indicator numeral.
Front laminated, tri-flipback and printed by Ernest J Day with a large 'MONO' indicator on the front, top, right hand corner.
EMITEX polylined white inner sleeve with the grey text 'Important - TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR MICROGROOVE RECORDS CHECK YOUR GRAMOPHONE STYLUS REGULARLY...A WORN STYLUS WILL GIVE POOR REPRODUCTION...A CHIPPED STYLUS WILL PERMANENTLY DAMAGE A RECORD' in the upper right area, and the text 'USE "EMITEX" CLEANING CLOTH TO PRESERVE YOUR MICROGROOVE RECORDS...OBTAINABLE FROM ALL GOOD RECORD DEALERS' in the lower left area.

Vinyl Is In VG+ Condition. (Just A Little 'Static' Dust And A Couple Of Fingerprints. Cover Has Wear On The Front And Reverse. Part Of The Bottom Of The Flipback Is Torn

As our items are donated, they may appear with dust and finger marks to surface and are likely to require cleaning.
- VERY GOOD – Item has been played but surface appears to be clear with no signs of scratches or scuffs. Item may have some light dust build-up. Cover possibly has some slight corner/shelf wear but no dents or damage.
- GOOD – Vinyl surface may have a few VERY light scratches and some dust build-up. Cover may have some light signs of wear to edges & corners. No dirt or marks.
- FAIR – Vinyl has multiple light scratches and scuffs but still looks playable with few issues, in need of cleaning but ultimately a practical, playable record. Sleeve has issues such as corner/edge wear and some dents, possibly some light sticker residue. May show light dirt.
- POOR – Surface has deep scratches, dirt and scuffs. Likely to play with skips or be unplayable altogether. Sleeve is torn, worn or dirty. Generally this is reserved for a collectable record.
We grade all items visually and do not have the facilities to sound test. Please note that these are used recordings and as such may have some dust and/or scratches which may affect the sound quality of recordings.
