Description
Please check previous feedback so you know you're buying from an experienced seller.
Check the photos carefully as this forms part of the description. The disc may be a little dusty. It will be carefully cleaned once sold unless instructed otherwise.
THE BEATLES White Album PMC 7068 1968 UK
Cover:- G+ No. 0078178. Sleeve is age yellowed with general wear. Corners are rubbed. A little feathered along opening with a 1cm tear on rear opening. There is a 1.2cm long puncture inside the gatefold. The spine is still legible but the laminate has lifted and is splitting in places.
Inner sleeve:- Fair original black inner sleeves are present but ripped and creased.
Vinyl:- VG+/VG+
Disc 1:- surface shows light signs of play (paper scuffing and some needle marks evident in angled light). Plays as clean as a whistle.
Disc 2:- slightly worse with an added couple of hairlines and needle marks (not scratches). Again this plays clean.
The audio is excellent. All runouts end in a "1" matrix.
Labels:- Clean, quite a few spindle marks evident so played but well looked after.
Other:- This is a crossover pressing. The initial numbered edition was released in error omitting the text 'E.M.I. Recording' on all 4 labels. This pressing omits the text on Side 1 & 2. Sides 3 & 4 have the text.
Poster has age spotting and creasing with some of the seams starting to split. All 4 photos present, some have light scratching, age spotting and the odd corner has a crease. The Harrison has some tape residue.
All records packed correctly. The LP will be removed from the outer jacket and inner sleeve (unless in a plain inner sleeve) and put into new plain white paper sleeve. Then both will be put into a polythene cover and packed into a mailing box.
Non U.K. customers, especially those in Europe, bear in mind that a Sales Tax may be added to the total price. I have no idea what this amount will be.
