This is a RARE U.K. export for  pressing in FRANCE that was made for the UK.  In late 1973 the EMI pressing plant in Hayes, London was being remodeled and for a short time farmed out some of their vinyl pressing to the Pathe Marconi plant in France. They sent the UK stampers and used UK covers. They even copied the "Mfd. in U.K." labels, but added "Made In France by Pathe Marconi" at the top.

These are quite difficult to find.

VINYL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION

Vinyl is clean with high gloss, on close inspection under bright light  -

Vinyl surface shows some light wispy hairline marks  plus  Side 2 & 3 have some light minor surface marks - have tested both sides on Rega Planar 2 only  few light clicks on "Mother Nature's Son &  "Long Long Long".

Other two sides are in TOP CONDITION - only fine hairlines/paper marks. NICE EXAMPLE of this rarity that has been LOVINGLY CARED FOR.

Record Labels are in sensational condition - no dullness in the artwork and the print is clearly visible.

No writing, sticky residue or discoloration

Except for light trace of spider marks & very minor spindle wear.

SLEEVE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION

The sleeve is in nice clean condition - no splits or tears, no grubby marks or any defacements

The fully laminated sleeve has general light storage wear from rubbing & handling etc  i.e the sleeve has some small light minor creases / blisters & very slight wear on/near the edges - the edges of the sleeve have attracted some dust/dirt where the laminate ends

text on the spine is clearly legible, although there is some foxing, as indicated by photo No.5

No seam splits or tears.

Inside of gatefold is in nice condition.

Sleeve has been nicely cared for.

Sleeve has lasted very well - In nice condition for its age.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

I DO NOT SELL ANY VINYL GRADED LESS THAN VG, UNLESS IT IS ANYTHING THAT IS VERY RARE OR SPECIAL.
