CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY AUDIO: Overall graded as VERY GOOD(+); as with all of my records, this has been completely play graded from start to finish and all sides played through nicely with a bold and clear mono sound in the main. No jumps, sticks or loud pops. There is some background static present (predominately towards the end of sides 2, 3 & 4) + some stray clicks here and there. In many places it plays well towards EX and is overall a very nice listen.
Please note that 'Good Night' seemed to have the most static of all. Every mono copy of the White Album that I have had has always done this!
VINYL VISUAL: Overall graded as VG/VERY GOOD(+); the vinyl retains a nice sheen but has noticeable light scratches and surface marks but nothing that seems to have a drastic impact on the audio. Both records look OK.
LABELS: All NEAR MINT; just a tiny bit of light spindle tracing. Side 4 has the KT tax code embossed on it. This is very unusual for a 1968 release as this had generally been phased out by this point.
SLEEVE: Overall graded as EXCELLENT; the fully laminated sleeve is a nice example. Some light laminate rubbing and mild ring wear. Some very light wear to the top opening edges and a small scuff to the back bottom edge. Overall, very presentable.
Please note that the sleeve is more like off cream in colour than white having suffered from some age yellowing over the years. This is its only real flaw. The photos below do make it look whiter than it really is. Please be aware of this when bidding.
SPINE: OK; the spine suffers from some age browning and the laminate has lifted and peeled across most of it. However, it is still completely intact and all the text remains legible.
I think that this may be the rarer wide spine (8mm) but I am not 100% sure on this.
INNERS: Due to the fragile nature of the sugar paper used for the inner sleeves these are often very badly damaged but here are two of the better examples that I have seen. One is EX/EX(-) with just light wear and creasing. The other has a small split to the bottom edge and is a bit more creased but is still very presentable. I will supply 2 new poly-lined paper sleeves in addition.
POSTER: EXCELLENT(-); looks fine overall. Some light creasing and a very small split in the centre of one of the folds.
PRINTS: All are EX/EXCELLENT(+); jusr some very light creases here and there.

GRADING
All of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.
I will never grade a used record as Mint as I do not believe that a second hand record ever truly can be. Therefore, if I grade as Near Mint or Excellent(+) then you can assume that is as near to Mint or Archive quality as I believe it can be. Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.
I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.
I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.
POSTAGE / SHIPPING
I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.
For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.
As a general rule, shipping will be discounted.
Shipping rates quoted are valid up to a total sale value of £2500 within the UK and £500 for overseas buyers.
Overseas buyers please note that any item or items with a total value of £25 or more will be sent by International Signed For with no exceptions. Please ask for a quote or wait for my invoice if the final sale is more than £500.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
