From 1969 the Australian sleeve changed to “No” replacing capital “A” before the five digit number. “AUSTRALIAN NUMBERING - Early sleeves had a unique five digit number stamped on the front cover prefixed with a capital “A”. Around the 61000 mark, the “A” prefix was replaced with “Nº”. The lowest and highest numbers verified in the “A” range are 00001 and 61511, and in the “Nº” range are 61392 and 94930.

Vinyl Grade: +VG overall, good gloss, sides 1 & 2 have lots of long light scratches, nothing bad/deep that you would expect to hear as a click/tick. Side 3 has a few small light scratches/scuffs and cover impression marks on about a third of side (close photo shows). Side 4 has a few small light scratches plus one more noticeable scratch across the last few tracks that cannot be heard/no clicks (close photo shows). Note: sides 3 & 4 play with a wobble that does not affect playing, plays fine from the start.  

Sound Quality: EX, overall plays with excellent sound quality. Sides 1, 3 & 4 have no noticeable surface noise. Side 2 plays with light background surface noise mainly noticeable on first half. All four sides play with no pops/clicks/ticks. Fully play tested to describe and sounds/plays fine.

Cover: VG, gatefold top loading cover has general wear, numbered A 58958, has edge wear, (has name written inside gatefold top of inner spline and right side) spine. Four photos have some pin holes in corners, has one original black paper inner sleeve rather than two, excellent lyrics collage poster insert included.      

Records graded directly under very bright table light for the visual grade. Sound quality checked by playing to ensure that visual grade and sound quality are consistent. 

Mint M and Near Mint NM: Looks perfect as new. N and NM is only appropriate for new reissue records and not for vintage vinyl that has been played, regardless of how perfect it may look.

Excellent Plus +EX: Lovely gloss, no visible scratches, scuffs or marks. Has been played but has been handled well and still in great condition. (highest grade that I use for vintage vinyl)

Excellent EX: Lovely gloss, shows some slight signs of wear, including light trace/hairlines from the inner sleeve, light scuffs or very light marks that you would not expect to hear as surface noise. 

Very Good Plus +VG: Shows a few more very light marks than is allowable for EX so not quite EX. These signs of use would be expected to cause some light surface noise but not to detract from the music.

Very Good VG: Shows light scratches and marks and some that you would expect to cause surface noise, especially in soft passages, between tracks and during a song?s intro and ending but not so much as to overpower the music which can still be enjoyed.

Very Good Minus -VG: Shows significant wear and marks that you would expect to cause noticeable surface noise that detracts from the music.

Good G: In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records lacking much of the original gloss and with many scratches and marks that you would expect to cause very noticeable surface noise and clicks/pops that seriously detract from enjoyment of the music.
