Description
Beatles double-LP, The Beatles (White Album). UK Apple Records PMC 7067/8 rare MONO FIRST PRESSING, 1968, WITHOUT 'An EMI Recording' text on the labels...... the disc matrix numbers are XEX 709-1 / 710-1 / 711-1 / 712-1..... includes the original double-sided poster, which has a couple of slight seam splits & a few pieces of tape residue, otherwise in decent, intact condition.... also includes the 2 original black die-cut inner bags, although these are only in reasonable condition. The TOP-OPENING, FULLY LAMINATED, EMBOSSED & NUMBERED (No. 0502894) gatefold sleeve is in fairly decent, intact condition, with a clean inside cover ........ very clean labels ....…. the discs have light marking only & play mostly fine, with background surface noise in places, just one slight skip on 'Martha My Dear' & unfortunately there is a 'stick' (repeat) on 'Honey Pie', perhaps repairable...... otherwise very listenable....... overall, a very acceptable & mostly very playable ORIGINAL UK copy..... sorry, no photos with this copy.
