This FIRST EVER STEREO PRESS was released in error omitting the text 'E.M.I. Recording' on some labels, so a second version The Beatles was promptly released with the corrected labels.

The First Press Vinyl grades as    EXCELLENT 

There are 3-4 feint hairlines not feel able, which do not effect audio at all !!!!  the Audio playback is great with just feint background crackle in the run ins.   OVERALL ,STILL glossy clean mirror finish , obviously been played a few times But VISUALLY LOOKS NICE GLOSSY AND CLEAN, (please see all pictures)

 NUMBERED GATEFOLD SLEEVE         VERY GOOD + +

The first press top opening, Low Numbered Sleeve No 0539675, is in VG++  condition, Some of the usual issues with this cover exist as always, such as age discolouration, edge rub,  etc but Glossy laminated sheen on front , inside and back of sleeve , fully legible uncrushed spine, all inner fold overs fine.
