Outstanding collectable vintage vinyl quality made for the UK market in 1973, UK issue with French pressing using the first UK stampers (-1) made for the album.
Label: Apple Records ?– PCS 7067/8. Country: UK. Released: 1973. Discogs quote for this record “This pressing uses the first UK stampers (-1) made for the album.”
LP production was contracted to Pathe Marconi in France for the UK market from 1973-75 while the EMI-Hayes plant in UK was closed for reconstruction.
This edition comes in an un-numbered laminated gatefold sleeve with embossed lettering (The Beatles) on the cover. The sleeve is printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod and Lofthouse. Opens from the right side of gatefold jacket sleeve. ("An E.M.I Recording") and 'Mfd. in the U.K.' displayed on label together with Made in France by Pathe Marconi.

Vinyl Grade: EX excellent, high gloss, a couple of hairlines only.
Sound Quality: fully play tested, excellent sound quality.
Cover: excellent, lovely gloss surface, very flat, no damage or edge wear, 4 photos and large poster are excellent.
Labels: clear, no spindle wear.
Records graded directly under very bright table light for the visual grade. Sound quality checked by playing to ensure that visual grade and sound quality are consistent.
Mint M and Near Mint NM: Looks perfect as new. N and NM is only appropriate for new reissue records and not for vintage vinyl that has been played, regardless of how perfect it may look.
Excellent Plus +EX: Lovely gloss, no visible scratches, scuffs or marks. Has been played but has been handled well and still in great condition. (highest grade that I use for vintage vinyl)
Excellent EX: Lovely gloss, shows some slight signs of wear, including light trace/hairlines from the inner sleeve, light scuffs or very light marks that you would not expect to hear as surface noise.
Very Good Plus +VG: Shows a few more very light marks than is allowable for EX so not quite EX. These signs of use would be expected to cause some light surface noise but not to detract from the music.
Very Good VG: Shows light scratches and marks and some that you would expect to cause surface noise, especially in soft passages, between tracks and during a song?s intro and ending but not so much as to overpower the music which can still be enjoyed.
Very Good Minus -VG: Shows significant wear and marks that you would expect to cause noticeable surface noise that detracts from the music.
Good G: In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records lacking much of the original gloss and with many scratches and marks that you would expect to cause very noticeable surface noise and clicks/pops that seriously detract from enjoyment of the music.
