Description
This is the UK mono "The Beatles" Apple PMC 7067-8 2LP 1982 reissue of the album. It is complete with the photos and the poster. What is amazing about this album is that it is COMPLETELY UNPLAYED. I bought this and a few other copies of the album from a dealer selling off his old inventory. All of the records for sale were just as he had gotten then in the 70's and 80's. All were unplayed. There are absolutely no spindle marks what so ever. These are virgin grooves. The last copy I sold of this album in the same condition went for $350 here on ebay about 5 years ago.
The cover has the raised "The Beatles" on it but no number. There are some minor signs of wear which would almost be impossible not to notice on a pure white cover. The back cover has a minor bit of ring wear but more of an impression and no dark circle marks at all. The seam is perfect and sharp. The poster/photos are also perfect.
As for the vinyl, there are NO lines of needle wear whatso ever. Side 4 has a few very fine lines but that is from being taken in and out of the paper sleeve. They are as light as you can get. Just some dust from being in the paper. Because the records have been inspected from time to time, the records are NEAR MINT/Unplayed. Just about as good as you're likely to find with a mono White Album
