(Apple PMC 7068) 1968

 

Here’s a decent mono original first pressing of this all-time classic, as issued on Apple in the UK in November 1968, with significantly different mixes to the far more common stereo edition.

 

SLEEVE

The fully laminated top-loading sleeve is in VG condition, with general wear including a sticker-pull top centre and dried-out tape remnants at the top of the front cover (which will come off). The spine is complete and legible.

 

DISCS

Both discs are in VG to VG+ condition, with minor marks that create light surface noise but no pops, crackle or jumps. They retain their original black inner sleeves. A name is written on sides 2 and 4 (see picture).

 

INSERTS

The poster is intact, with pinholes and a small tear. Four photos are included, two of which are of George.
