Description

The Beatles / The Beatles (The White Album) - Apple Records SWBO-101 (US)(1968) ...This auction is for an original, numbered edition (No. 0013570) Double Record on (US) vinyl. It is the first pressing with the Apple label (and has the Capitol logo on the label).

  Each song on the sprawling double album The Beatles is an entity to itself, as the band touches on anything and everything it can. Never before had a rock record been so self-reflective, or so ironic. Clearly, the Beatles' two main songwriting forces were no longer on the same page, but neither were George and Ringo. None of it sounds like it was meant to share album space together, but somehow The Beatles creates its own style and sound through its mass.

The records look and sound really nice with some minor wear/cover is very clean with no seam or major wear (light aging). Record will include a high quality resealable outer sleeve.
