The Beatles double 1st press LP.
Record no: Stereo PCS 7067/68, titled: The Beatles. Dated 1968. Matrix nos: YEX 709-1 - YEX 710-1 & YEX 711-1 - YEX 712-1.
The outer numbered (0454124) laminated top opening gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition, with a little light edge wear, there is a small number indented to the front left top corner and the top of the spine edge has a little splitting, this is still nice and clean with a really nice interior and no real creasing................................The double vinyl is in excellent condition with some light signs of play, has a few light surface marks and there is the odd light surface scratch, but I have played this and it plays really well and sounds great with minor crackle to the odd track and these still have a really good sheen, the dark green Apple record labels (with "sold in the UK") are really clean and readable with the centres showing some light spindle wear and these come in plain black diecut paper sleeves which are fine, but one does have two tears to the diecut edge and this also comes with its original poster which is fine with some light creasing and light age spotting (never been on a wall) and the four postcard photos and these are excellent......................Overall a really nice example and whoever gets this will not be disappointed..................................
