1963 UK Parlophone PMC1206 Mono LP + EJ Day Sleeve
Due to huge demand for this album at time of issue , EMI had to have extra copies pressed at the UK Decca pressing plant .
Decca pressings are identifiable by the 'recessed groove' 3 mm in from the label perimeter , and although having 'mother' numbers stamped into the run-off groove area , no 'stamper' digits were used ...... Difficult to find this variation . a great collectors item !
matrix XEX 447 - 7N / XEX 448 - 7N
mother 3 over 9 / 2 over 6
stamper no stamper figures
