Description
THE BEATLES YELLOW SUBMARINE
Apple 69 -1-1 UK Stereo 1st pr LP EX+/nr EX
PCS7070
Lovely UK Stereo 1st press
with "Sold in UK" on Labels.
Original laminated flipback sleeve has
2 red stripes on the rear.
Stamper codes are 1O & 1H.
Front laminated flipback sleeve is really stunning &
probably as clean as you will ever find, apart from a
couple of slight laminate creases near the opening.
Sleeve is really shiny & in fantastic condition!
Rear is very very clean, spine is crisp with
small pinched ends at ends of spine
& in strong/EX condition.
Black Apple inner sleeve is nr EX condition,
Labels are generally nr EX condition with
a few spindle marks, mainly on Side 2.
Vinyl is nr EX condition.
Plays all the way through with great audio,
very slight surface noise right at the beginning
of the "Yellow Submarine" track but
generally plays great.
Has had a professional clean and has been housed
in a new Japanese anti static inner sleeve
inside the original inner sleeve.
Item 402
For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,
Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies,
with a Quad Amp set-up.
For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.
First clean with purified water and isopropanol alcohol and
finished off with L'art du son / purified water mix.
The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.
The l’art du son mix seems to smooth out any brittleness
in the alcohol water mix.
