THE BEATLES YELLOW SUBMARINE PMC 7070. MATRIX NUMBERS: XEX 715 -1; XEX 716 - 1. MOTHERS/STAMPERS: GM 3/ G - 1
RECORD/SLEEVE:
This is a very rare mono copy of The Beatles' classic 1969 soundtrack. The record itself is in nice shape and has been looked after well over the last (nearly) 50 years! There are no big scratches or scuffs on the record, just some some light hairlines, which have to be looked at in strong light to be found! On playback there is a little static during the first 30 seconds, which includes a two small skips, but this may be a pressing fault as there are no marks that can be found to cause this... After that, the record plays brilliantly with only a small amount of surface noise between tracks. The record grades visually as VG+
The sleeve is fantastic! A really nice, clean filpback sleeve, which is nice pretty white and crisp on the back other than a little browning near the opening edge (see pics). The spine is perfect, with only minimal corner wear to speak of. There is very slight creasing at the spine edge of the front but other than that the laminated front is free of creases and looks very clean and well looked after. Sleeve definitely grades as EX!
