THE BEATLES - YESTERDAY AND TODAY
CAPITOL T-2553 MONO BUTCHER COVER
1966 RIAA #6
The famous Butcher Cover. This copy is a west coast version 2nd State Paste-over in Mono.
No seam splits but there is a small pressed on ink name on the front.
On the spine there is a tiny little spot (See Photo). Light edge wear from water maybe??
Corners look nice, upper right corner is pushed just a tiny bit. Light shelf & handling wear
with just the slightest hint of ring wear on the front and back ( very slight ).
The steamer Trunk slick is so transparent you can see Ringo's V neck. I would rate the cover and record at VG+.
I think its a VERY nice Butcher Cover.
The record has lot's of gloss and deep shine, shows just a few scattered light Hairline scratches (Nothing Deep).
Play grades a very nice VG++ all the way. Obviously used very little.
No writing but does have the owners name and address stamped on the cover as I mentioned.
No inner sleeve but those are not hard to come. Beautiful!
