ORIGINAL 1ST EAST COAST STEREO RELEASE 2ND-STATE - “BUTCHER COVER” WITH A UNIQUE SLICK, SHOWING THROUGH NOT ONLY THE “V” NECK DETAIL, BUT ALSO ALMOST THE FULL RINGO'S SILHOUETTE, UNPEELED PASTEOVER COVER
STEREO COPIES OF THE FIRST PRESSINGS OF THIS ALBUM ARE ABOUT 10 TIMES RARER THAN MONO COPIES AS IN THE EARLY 60’S THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE HAD MONO PHONOGRAPHS, SO LESS STEREO LP’S WERE MANUFACTURED, THIS WOULD CHANGE AROUND 1967 WHEN STEREO BECAME THE INDUSTRY'S STANDARD

COVER - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) Original thick cardboard single type pasteover trunk cover with the 'Butcher' underneath. The "V" neck is perfectly visible under the near mint paste over slick. The back cover has a factory designator RIAA #2, identifying the issue as a Capitol Records, Scranton, PA, pressing plant. The cover is still in its original shrinkwrap. The shrink is fully intact with the original breathe holes. The front cover has the original, authentic "Life" Magazine "Advertised In Life" price sticker. Super clean cover without any ring wear, sharp corners and rigid spine. It is extremely hard to fine a copy in such a superb condition.
LABEL - NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) Original Capitol Records ST-2553 stereo catalog number 01A Keystone print black label with a multicolored spectrum ("Rainbow") band along the label's edge without the "subsidiary" print.
VINYL - EXCELLENT (EX) Original very early thick glossy vinyl pressing with the hand written first matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl (dead wax)
