Description
This cover is NOT pristine but still has some good things going for it.
CAPITOL RECORDS T 2553, Mono
RIAA Number 6 (West Coast pressing)
Black and rainbow label
No inner advertising sleeve, vinyl is in suprisingly great shape. I would rate it very good.
Description of cover starting with top/front left quadrant and then going clockwise:
Top left/front quadrant: Peeling tear of approx 1 1/8" by 2 3/4" on top cover, no damage to cover beneath. Can see Capitol label through remaining ply of top cover.
Tear of approx 5/8" inches by George's head and fold. This minor tear and fold will be on cover beneath, though not serious.
Top right/front quadrant: Tear back of top cover corner of approx. 1 1/2" by 1 1/2". Cover beneath has been lifted with this tear back. Looks like it's fixable with only minor blemishes to cover beneath. Also minor tear of 3/8" in both top and cover beneath.
Bottom right/front quadrant: No damage. The black "V" of Ringo's clothing (underneath) can be seen readily in proper light.
Bottom left/front quadrant: Minor peeling tear of top cover of 1/4" by 1 1/2", no damage to cover beneath.
Peel back of top cover of approx 3/8" by 2 1/4" exposing cover beneath of John's hand. This action has caused small peeling tears on cover beneath. See photo.
Back: Upper left hand corner, small/light ball point pen of person's name? A few other minor peeling tears, overwise fine. Minor ring wear.
Seam split on title spine of approx 6 inches. Seam split on top right of approx 3 inches.
