Description

ATTENTION international bidders!
Please understand that altering the final price of online purchases to avoid customs fees is illegal.  Every order is processed digitally, the shipping label affixed to the package will show the exact cost of the item.  I am an honest seller and cannot alter the amount, so please do not ask me to do so. RECORD packaging & shipping!
I provide ample padding in each package to prevent shifting during the shipping process. I also use industry-standard shipping boxes which are specifically designed for shipping records. Records are shipped outside their sleeves (if a sleeve is included) and covers to prevent damage during transit.
Goldmine Standard Grading:

SS / NM- / VG++ / VG+ / VG / G+ / G / P
I grade very conservatively, please see my grading scale below the record description for more details.

Up for your consideration is an early, if not first mono pressing of The Beatles' "Yesterday and Today" album on the Capitol label from 1966 - just after the Butcher releases. Please see the details below for more concerning the record's condition below:

Vinyl: VG++
I grade conservatively and cleaned this record thoroughly on my VPI machine. The record has no skips and plays beautifully, I have listened to both sides completely. Though the sound is excellent. The vinyl has a beautiful shine to it, though it does have a couple light marks - one is faintly detectable to the touch but doesn't inhibit playback. The clip below is taken direct from the record in the location of that mark. The surface elsewhere is extremely nice, just short of NM- in my opinion. Very clean, and again, I've cleaned it on my VPI machine.

The actual, unedited sound file(s) below are provided by my Yamaha P-520 Direct Drive TT with Digitrac 280E cartridge @ 1.5 grams /// I can't guarantee the record will sound exactly like the file below since all turntables are equipped differently.

mp3 also available here!

Labels:
The labels look as pictured, very nice.

Sleeve: VG++
The inner sleeve is the Capitol factory sleeve from '66. No splits.

Cover: VG+ to VG++
The cover has no splits and all seams are nice, straight and sharp. Light wear on the mouth edge. There is one nick out of the spine, more of a small chip I suppose. That is pictured. Front cover has nice print, some light foxing from age. Same goes for the back cover only the back has a bit more foxing, possibly from the difference in the paper stock. Overall, this is a very nice cover.

General Comments:
This record is a true classic. I have several of these in my collection and can afford to let this one go. Its a very nice album, condition is nice - not mint - but close to it. I try to be conservative when grading, I hope my description was sufficient.

Thanks for looking!
Mike

Goldmine Grading Details
SS = Still Sealed
any defects will be listed and/or photographed to complete the description

NM- = Near Mint Minus
just short of absolutely perfect
acceptable defects would include a hairline mark not detectable to the touch and not affecting playback, background noise is nearly silent

VG++ = Very Good Plus Plus
most records I will list fall under this grade, just short of NM- but may have a mark or contact wear to the label to grade it slightly lower, maybe a drill hole or cut, maybe a mark or name written on the label lightly, sound is still great, loud and near perfect, cover may have slight edge or corner wear, maybe slight ring wear

VG+ = Very Good Plus
a great record, sound is high quality though may have a few pops or clicks, overall very nice looking vinyl possibly with light marks & scuffs, labels may have a name or mark on them, possible light contact wear to the label, covers may have a small split but not large or gaping, edge wear on cover may show more than slight, may be a mark on cover

VG = Very Good
only records I will list with this grade would be rather rare or of higher book value, meant to sell as a filler until a better record comes along, vinyl may have feelable marks but should play through without skipping, pops or clicks may be louder than usual, may have marks or wear on the label, cover may have open splits, wear on print, may have marks or other very apparent defects (all will be stated in description either by type or in the pictures)
