 THE BEATLES - Yesterday and Today - Rare Canadian Pressing on Capitol Green Target Label - ST 2553 (STEREO)

Up for grabs is a rare Canadian pressing of The Beatles Yesterday and Today album on the green Capitol Target Label. Circa 1968, this disc is heavy vinyl, and the cover is made of heavy cardboard. In reality, there were likely fewer of the green label discs made than the original black rainbow label. If you are a completest, then this is a must for you, especially since its also a rare Canadian variant:

This album, which normally shows thumbnail pictures of the The Beatles U.S. album catalogue on the rear, shows a different line-up on the Canadian edition, including the rare Canadian Capitol 6000 versions of the first few Beatles albums. Please see the photo, as this is quite different from the common U.S. version.


CONDITION:


COVER: (VG++) An exemplary cover with only the slightest wear and some very light yellowing. Heavy cardboard, and made with slicks as opposed to the one piece construction of the 1970's. Very collectible condition.

DISC: (VG+ to VG++) Side one has a 1.25" spindle scuff on it, and side two is virtually perfect. Apart from the spindle scuff, this disc only has a few light sleeve scuffs. It sounds vibrant and beautiful and has lots of sheen to it. Side 2 is pushing M-. Made from Heavy vinyl.
