TITLE: Yesterday and Today
LABEL: Capitol T-2553 mono, black label, logo at top center, colorband perimeter, rigid vinyl

FORMAT: 33 1/3 rpm
CONDITION OF JACKET: Exceptional for this item without a doubt! Please see pictures below. To be thorough, of course, I will enumerate its very minor “flaws”. The seams are completely in tact, except that the top corner at the spine has half an inch total of a tiny split. There is some very minor creasing in the extreme of this corner, but the corner is not significantly pushed-in. .There is also a tiny (just under one inch long) seam split in the bottom corner at the opening edge, accompanied again by some very minor creasing. The other two corners have significantly less wear, not really worth detailing. Just left of center at the bottom seam there is an inch and a half of paper deterioration, only really noticeable if you view it with the bottom seam facing you, no seam splitting whatsoever here, and it does not effect the paste-over whatsoever. Print on the spine is completely legible. There is some minor ringwear, most noticeable at the top of the jacket, but more pronounced on the back cover and certainly not significant enough to mar the beauty of the front cover or merit an overall jacket grade below VG+. Tough to find this white cover with so little ringwear! No writing or markings anywhere on the jacket. I have never personally seen an unpeeled butcher jacket this nice, and you would be hard pressed to obtain one nicer without shelling out a grand or more. You will not be disappointed!
CONDITION OF VINYL: Retains blackness and shine, there is a scratch across four tracks on Side 1, generally sounds below the level of the music if noticeable, most audible in portions of “I’m Only Sleeping” and “Nowhere Man”, other moderate wear, VG.
DESCRIPTION / COMMENTS: Yes, this is an original, unpeeled butcher jacket. Number 6 next to the RIAA on the back cover. The smoking gun “V” of Ringo’s jacket can be clearly seen in the pictures below.
