Up on the auction block now, is the picture disc of the 1966 Beatle's album "Yesterday and Today". It is the original "Butcher Babies" cover, which was banned, and changed to a milder, tamer (kinder, gentler?) cover of the boys in front of a trunk. The original cover has the Beatles in white butcher smocks, with blood, baby dolls (some headless), and raw meat! Needless to say, their label Capitol Records said "no way"! Now the first generation copies, with the sticker, are worth a lot of money. They pasted a sticker over the offensive cover, and the sticker had the new picture. This is an early picture disc, as they have gotten MUCH better through the years. This is also an un-opened, still in its shrink-wrap, MINT copy. That's right, NEVER has been opened, NEVER has been played! Take advantage of this true collector's Beatles' memorabilia, at a great price. Just in time for the holidays!
