Description
Here is a copy of the Beatles' "Youngblood" LP, which comprises various Beatles alternate versions (see photos for track listing). This is NOT the nicely printed earlier German version, this is a later pressing with photocopied inserts in a white sleeve. The sleeve has some staining at the top (see pic), and is about VG condition. The record is about a VG to VG+, it has some scuffs and one larger scratch. This would have been purchased around the late 80's but looks to be older than that-- perhaps early 80's or late 70's. It has been in my collection for over 20 years, I believe I bought it and transferred it to tape before putting it in storage in a plastic sleeve, where it has remained ever since.
Those who know my Beatles auctions know I don't overpromise on condition-- I'd rather you be pleasantly surprised than upset. Here are my grading criteria:
MINT : Pristine, perfect and flawless
NM NEAR MINT The record shows no obvious signs of wear. The very slightest signs of use, truly near mint. May have few signs of wear on the cover and/ or few slight paper scuffs on the vinyl. Plays perfectly
NM- NEAR MINT MINUS The record will show some small signs that it was played and handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. There should be no obvious defects (Scratches/Warps).
EX : Light use is evident. The beginnings of light wear will be evident on the cover and some surface scuffs will apear on the vinyl BUT record should play with no surface noise.
VG++ : Use is evident but not bad. Cover has some ring wear along with some rub along the edges, spine and the corners along the spine. Record has some marks , very light scratches.
VG+ : Average use record, looks OK, plays OK, some noise is possible. Record has most of the original gloss. Record was played but was well cared for.
VG : Cover shows more than normal wear and vinyl has some groove wear or several scratches or some significant scratches. This record may have noise, but not overwhelmingly.
G : Significant surface noise, scratches, visible groove wear , may skip or repeat.
