Description

These are practically the last negs I have left of The Beatles from a collection I discovered a few years back which were taken by Richard Rosser. They were lost for many years and the majority unpublished.

Rosser worked as a freelance photographer for Rave, Record Mirror etc and little of his work is credited today. He is known for his photograph on the cover of Five Live Yardbirds however.

These three strips of negatives were shot during rehearsals in Dec 1964 at the Hammersmith Odeon, London for The Beatles' series of Christmas specials. Quality is a bit rough and ready but there are some decent images as you can see. No Ringo Starr but a good one of Paul McCartney & John Lennon in the same frame and a couple of George Harrison.

No copyright inferred - they are sold on a collectot to collector basis with no reserve.
