Description
Here is a 1967 mono version of this Beatles classic.
I listen on a technics 1210MK2 with light tone arm weight, with decent audio equipment at loud volume to accentuate imperfections.
As a general rule I do not offer partial refunds based on buyer evaluation.
Detailed appraisal of condition is given below, no need to write and ask me what the 'grade' is as these terms are used to save time, here you can see I have spent some time describing it!
XEX 637-1 / GOL XEX 638-1 / RGD
VINYL - has been deep cleaned on a MOTH/2 RCM. On inspection surface shows numerous light wispy contact hairlines. There are no deep scratches that can be felt with fingertips, deep nicks, horizontal groove scratches, excessive worn out grooves or that sort of thing. Surface looks clean. The record plays through well with an overall strong sound free of distortion of clipping on the higher frequencies however you can expect a fairly light to moderate background 'vinyl' presence throughout playback, however which is not overpowering in even the softest passages but will maintain a presence throughout. Perhaps some louder fleeting imperfections here & there such as a pop, buzz or crackle. Labels show some light spindle marks but nothing excessive or looking really worn out. Overall an enjoyable copy but with some general limitations associated with used vinyl from this era due to age and use.
SLEEVE - the sleeve is in pretty strong shape, showing some light general shelf wear and age. No cutout insert, inner sleeve is HMV printed. Please take a look at the pictures.
