Has been deep cleaned on MOTH/2 RCM to remove dust.
The surface shows numerous light wispy contact marks, hairlines and rubs, along with more occasional deeper scratch that breaks the surface of the record.
There aren't any deep gashes, horizontal groove scratches, cracks, mould, damp or that sort of thing - but obvious signs the record was not looked after properly.
It sits flat and plays through OK all things considered, I've listened to pretty much all of it whilst making the listing.
The playback is strong without overpowering noise, constant hissing, loud distortion or that sort of thing.
However you can expect light background presence, some crackle around the frequencies, with regular clicks, pops and the general imperfections you would expect with a used item in this condition.
No need to purchase this with anything other than realistic expectations due to the surface wear and fatigue as I've described, it is however a functioning and enjoyable enough copy of this iconic album in it's original format, and the sleeve is in pretty good shape which is worth a few quid in itself.
No fussy types and re-sellers please. Returns are free if you are not happy with the purchase.

Compared to the record the outer gatefold sleeve; cosmetically is actually fairing considerably better - please inspect the pictures.
Has white printed inner (not the multi colour variation) which is tatty and dirty, no card insert.
