Description
"Revolver"
(PMC 7009)
This is a superb 1966 uk mono copy, what makes this rare is not only the nice condition but it has a Ernest j day cover and a super rare "Doctor robert" label credit (cover states DR robert)
The matrix numbers and stampers are
Side 1: xex 605-2 (2-RTH)
Side 2: xex 606-2 (6-RTR)

The orignal Ernest j day front laminated cover is in a strong Excellent condition..if not better!!,with no tears,stickers or writing.The front has a lovely shine with no laminate dame..lovely edges and just some creases mainly in 2 of the corners.The back is very presentable..normally with severe wear but this one is very nice with minor ageing.Seams and spine have no splits and the spine text is fully readable

This is the plain white "patents" issue and is Near mint with no damage

The black/yellow parlophone labels which have the "gramophone co.." and "sold in uk" text are in MINT- condition,i cannot see any damage or visible spindle marks!!..the record is also NOT TAX STAMPED
Record
The record is in Excellent to Excellent+ condition,full gloss and shine with no warping and no groove wear just mirror like wax,i grade records under strong light and you can just see some faint hairlines which could have been caused by removing the record from the inner sleeve etc AS IN NORMAL LIGHT IT LOOKS MINT-!!..no bad fingernail scratches at all.It plays really well and of course does not stick or jump just some background crackle in places which does not overshadow the music as it is not very loud and will not stop the enjoyment of the record.Most original records from the sixties had some type of static "built " in them as "part of their nature"but this copy hardly has any
I ALWAYS SAY A CLEAN ON A PROPER CLEANING MACHINE WOULD/COULD HELP THE PROBLEM OF STATIC CRACKLE
