This is a superb 1964 uk first press mono copy,It has stunning NEAR PERFECT audio!!
The matrix numbers and stampers are
Side 1: xex 481-3N (2-MO)
Side 2: xex 482-3N (7-APD)
Cover
The orignal Garrod & lofthouse patents pending front laminated cover is in a really nice Excellent condition,the front has no laminate lifting just some creases,the back which normally suffers from bad ageing and ringwear is very nice..a lovely creamy colour with no bad damage just 2 small brown spots above the letter "n" in "songs".Top seam is perfect with no splits,the bottom one has some tiny bits of rubbing and a tiny split on the opening (caused by removing the record from the cover).Spine is nice..all the text is readable..just a tiny bit of wear

Labels
The black/yellow parlophone labels which have the "gramophone co.." and "sold in uk" text are in Excellent condition,very clean..no spindle wear just spindle marks
Record
The record is in Excellent condition,full gloss and shine with no warping and no groove wear just mirror like wax,i grade records under strong light and you can just see some hairlines which could have been caused by removing the record from the inner sleeve..no bad fingernail scratches at all.It plays SUPERBLY well and of course does not stick or jump,there is a little bits of static between somes of the tracks but the tracks themselves play VIRTUALLY PERFECT with no clicks or pops etc.Most original records from the sixties had some type of static "built " in them as "part of their nature"but this copy hardly has any
I ALWAYS SAY A CLEAN ON A PROPER CLEANING MACHINE WOULD/COULD HELP THE PROBLEM OF STATIC CRACKLE
