This is an original 1966 STEREO first press which has THE GRAMOPHE CO.. and SOLD IN UK label text and also is KT stamped but what makes this even more rare is that it has the DOCTOR ROBERT label credit,and is in FANTASTIC condition
The original laminated GARROD & LOFTHOUSE flipback cover is in nice shape.The front has NO LAMINATE CRACKING and full gloss/shine with gorgeous square edges,nothing major wrong with it just has a few of the usual light edge creases.The seams and spine are mint and on the spine all the words are clear and readable.The back although nice suffers from shelf wear near the opening and some creases on the flipbacks.Altogether a solid example
The record which is made out of thick quality wax is in STUNNING condition, NO GROOVE WEAR,to look at it looks MINT!! but under a strong light you can see a few light marks
The parlophone labels are very clean with a little wear on the hole and just a couple of very light "spider" marks around the hole,these are very hard to see
The sound of this lp is just superb,pure quality,from the very start every track is pure genious with no lessening in sound quality and plays without any loud crackles,clicks or pops and it does not jump or stick,just the way you want to hear it,there are a 2 light "pops" at the end of "Got to get you into my life" but i guarantee this will not stop you enjoying this fantastic lp
