THE BEATLES – Abbey Road
(U.K. Pressing, APPLE PCS 7088) 1969 Stereo
-with mis-aligned Apple and 1st pressing matrices.

The rare misprinted cover for ‘Abbey Road’, with the ‘Apple’ logo set to the far left of the songwriting credits on the rear sleeve. The label logos are set on a dark background with black text, and ‘Her Majesty’ is listed on the B-side label, but is not listed on the cover.

COVER – G+ - An incredibly strict grading due to the rarity of the item.
FRONT
-two creases at the top-left corner and a few shorter lines at the spine.
-two creases at the sleeve lip.
-disc imprint and light spotting from ring wear.
BACK
-two creases at top-right corner and another at the bottom-left.
-two small spots of tape residue in top-left corner (only viewable under light)
-disc imprint and mild discoloration to laminate.
SEAMS AND SPINE
-perfectly-clean, 100% legible spine.
-light wear to all four corners and a one-inch tear at the top seam
-one very small spot of rubbing at the bottom seam near the sleeve lip; otherwise, seams are nearly perfect.

VINYL –
- Visual – EX minus – Shockingly well-preserved, especially for a vintage Beatles record. Very sharp and very clean, no major scratches and only a few light sleeve lines on either side viewable under light.
- Playback – Play-tested from start to finish. Impressive playback from start to finish. Any surface crackle is incredibly slight, completely inaudible under the music and difficult to hear between tracks.
Side 1 - VG+ - Clipping on the left-channel snare beats during the long instrumental passage at the end of Track 6.
Side 2 – EX – A few light, brief clicks in T1.
LABELS – EX+ - Brilliant; the faintest trace of short spindle lines viewable (with much effort) under bright light.
INNER – VG minus – I have included a black, die-cut inner ‘Patent No. 1,125,555’ and ‘Made In Great Britain’ text on one side. Small split in bottom seam and one side seam, alongside some wear to the sleeve lip.

PACKAGING –
All records will be carefully packaged with the vinyl removed from outer sleeves, placed within a plastic outer sleeve, and safely secured within two sturdy pieces of cardboard to prevent movement during shipping.
PAYMENT –
Payments can be made through PayPal, and must be received within 7 days of auction closing.
Items will be shipped within a week of payment receipt, as time and travel constraints prevent me from making more than one trip to the post office per week; please bear this in mind when leaving detailed feedback.
Each winning buyer will receive a confirmation e-mail once the album has been mailed, with no exception. Proof of mailing is obtained for every package sent.
GRADING –
I always use both visual and play grades in my description, based strictly on the Record Collector Standards (although no grade higher than EX+ will ever be employed).
Every second of each record is played and carefully-analyzed for crackle, repetitive clicks, distortion, jumps or sticks. I am constantly striving to deliver items in much better condition than can be expected from the description or letter grade.
REFUND –
Refunds are available for ‘significantly not-as-described’ items only; differences between plus and minus in the overall grading will not constitute major errors.
As there is no way to accurately grade the contents of sealed LPs, no refunds will be offered, under any circumstance, for these items.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me immediately and we will come to a satisfactory arrangement.
Shipping costs, without exception, are non-refundable, including shipping costs the buyer may incur during the refund process.
This seller is not responsible for items damaged or lost in the post (without exception), and no refunds of any kind will be issued in either instance.
