Description

This is a beautiful original UK mono first pressing of The Beatles "Beatles for Sale" LP from 1964 on the Black & Yellow Parlophone label. The laminated gatefold sleeve is in MINT MINUS condition, beautiful unspoilt laminate with just some very minor creasing to the very top left hand corner of the front of the sleeve. The inside is lovely and clean, the spine, with correct pinches to top and bottom is fully intact.The labels have some light signs of play with a few spidertrails, they carry the "Parlophone Co.." & "Sold in the UK...." credits .  The vinyl is fantastic, lovely and glossy, just a few of the faintest hairlines visible only under very bright light, graded MINT MINUS with a superb playback to match this. Barely a trace of background crackle even between tracks. The music plays back perfectly, a wonderful punchy mono sound, no faults of any kind to report, sounds like a brand new LP and of course is now pushing 50 like myself! Comes with a MINT MINUS Emitex inner, this is a fabulous copy

 

Matrix info: Side 1: XEX 503-4N, stampers GRM at 3 o'clock, 3&6 at 9. Side 2: XEX 504-4N, LH at 2 o'clock, 2 &5 at 8.    

 

I have been a collector for any years and a now selling most of my vinyl to fund a change of career. All records are thoroughly cleaned on my ClearAudio Smart Matrix machine and then carefully played on a Rega Planar 3 deck with Goldring cartridge. I use strict RC gradings with plus and minus to indicate variation and all records are sent out in professional mailers.
