This pre-release promotional Help! album is an original motion picture soundtrack, compiled by Capitol Records in the US, containing 12 songs by the Beatles and instrumentals by Ken Thorne and his orchestra. Incredibly rare Capitol Records Promotional copy with a perforated drill-hole "PROMO" punch at the top right corner of the front cover. Promotional, Demonstration and Radio Station copies were sent to radio stations as much as several months prior to the release of the record and considered to be the earliest very 1st pressings of the album. Original thick cardboard paste over gatefold cover with a 'PROMO' perforated promotional stamp. Original Capitol Records MAS-2386 mono catalog number Keystone print black 62-01A label with a multicolored spectrum ("Rainbow") band along the label's edge without the "subsidiary" print. This 1st print mono label variation doesn't list the author credit (Ken Thorne) for B4 "The Bitter End" and B6 "The Chase" and doesn't list "You Can't Do That" as part of the B4 track. Original very early 1st pressing thick vinyl with the hand written first matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl: Side 1: M1 - 2386 - F3 IAM in Triangle / Side 2: M2 - 2386 - G4 IAM in Triangle. The IAM in triangle stamp identifies the issue as an original 1st East Coast release Capitol Records, Scranton, Pennsylvania, plant pressing. The issue comes with the original Capitol Records olive green "Capitol's New Improved Full Dimensional Stereo sounds better than stereo has ever sounded before" printed paper inner sleeve with adverts for other Capitol Records releases.
CONDITION:
COVER: EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) Very clean cover without any ring wear, writing or splits. The interior gatefold has a couple of barely noticeable discoloration spots.
VINYL: SIDE 1 - VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) / SIDE 2 - VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (VG++) The glossy vinyl has some light marks, hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve with Side 2 being in a better condition than Side 1, having less hairlines.
LABELS: SIDE 1: NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) / SIDE 2: EXCELLENT (EX) Very clean scuff and wear-free labels.

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid.
