This Very RARE LP Album was part of the very 1st issue only on the Pre-Order 'LET IT BE' Box Set known as Cat. No. PXS 1 - Having the Red Apple Logo on back of Cover Sleeve also the very 1st Press Matrix Nos. -2 -2 which Rarely ever turns up for Sale as an individual item!!!     Release Date 8thMay 1970 (Box Set Only!) Normal Album release date 6th November 1970  (Normal later issue had the green apple logo on back of cover sleeve)

A friend has asked me to sell this LP on his behalf - The reason that ONLY the LP component  is being offered for sale from the Original Box Set is because the LP was always stored and kept separate from the Box and Book at the time of a House move some years ago - Unfortunately the Box & Book were lost during the move with other personal items

VINYL RECORD: EXCELLENT   This vinyl record visually looks and is still in excellent condition and is  a very nice example of this First UK Stereo Pressing from 1970 of this iconic Beatles album - On close visual inspection of both vinyl  sides it shows NO feelable scratches apart from some light hairlines and light scuff & wispy marks here and there over the vinyl surfaces and probably has been played a maximum of 10-12 times carefully on a turntable - The marks mentioned don't interfere with audio playback in anyway what so ever - The vinyl still retains it's Original  Pressed jet black glossy Sheen and Lustre and it's evident that it has not been overplayed in it's 40 years lifetime   

AUDIO PLAYBACK ASSESSMENT:  -  STILL PLAYS EXCEPTIONALLY WELL WITH CRYSTAL CLEAR CLARITY AND POWER ON AUDIO PLAYBACK END TO END - Audio is Graded as Excellent  - There are No major clicks,pops,skips,jumps or repeats and shows No real bad annoying  audio noise distortions during playback although whilst listening through the playback I noticed on Occasion you may get on the  very quiet tracks begin to play or on the start of run ins and inbetween tracks you may get some light static crackle for a few seconds now and again  and then it just fades away but absolutely nothing of any consequence that will spoil your overall enjoyment of this exceptional Iconic Classic Album - Overall  its just a Fantastic listening Experience that comes from this Dynamic  1st Stereo Pressing!!!  

The Record still plays Outstanding all the way through from start to finish with all it's Original and dynamic driving Stereo audio sound with  brilliant crystal clear clarity along with a full vibrant Stereo production Just as you would expect from the Very First Pressing!!!

LABELS: EXCELLENT -  On close visual examination both the labels show  to have some evidence of  spindle wear and trail traces but it looks very moderate play use considering that it's now 40 years old!!!

COVER SLEEVE & SPINE: EXCELLENT +  The Original full Laminated 'Red Apple' pictue sleeve cover is totally intact - Printed and Made by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. - Overall the cover visually shows to be virtually UNMARKED - Flat crisp and Clean and  showing all it's original bold vivid rich colours on the front and back showing to be bold clean and in a Superb condition for it's age - With No major problems of any serious wear to front or back of cover - With No major defects to be seen it has NO Seam splits, Rips, Ink writing,stains or stickers - Apart from some very light minimal edge & corner wear and a few small laminate creases around the cover and the begining of some very slight and minor ring wear (Hardly that noticable and this does not detract from the overall look and condition of cover) - The Spine Itself is in Excellent+ condition - Firm straight and rigid with all the original written text is just fantastic and still being bold clear and legible and very near perfect with very little evidence to show of much wear on the spine -The overall excellent condition of this Album cover is mainly due to the superb storage conditions and thick plastic cover protection on this LP Record Cover - Not much more I can add only to say that this Very Rare iconic classic Album is probably very hard to track down and find in this exceptional condition !!!           

Inner Sleeve: VG+ Original White (PATENT No.1.125.555.  MADE IN ENGLAND) EMI Record Company Inner Sleeve - On Close Inspection it has the usual and expected light yellow ageing tinges on the white edge areas of the sleeve a few corner creases and Vinyl Record impression that has been left against the inner sleeve bag and one small tear nick on bottom of cover and thats it! - With absolutely NO other Tears,Splits,Ink Writting or other Wear

All of my records That I'm selling are from my own personel collection that I have collected for over 40 years and which have been generally kept and looked after to the highest standard.

I'm currently starting to sort through some of my other Rare vinyl records that have been played only a few times - which are mainly UK 1st  PRESSINGS - which are all in Excellent to Mint Condition - Mainly due to Covers/Vinyl have been kept in plastic covers for all of there Life Span and this is one of them

Record Collector's Grading System:

MINT: The Record is in Brand New Condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The Cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet,booklet or poster are in Perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be MINT.  

EXCELLENT: The Record shows some signs of having been played,but there is very little lessing in sound quality. The Cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or Creasing.

VERY GOOD: The Record has obviously been played many times,but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the Cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.
