For those that are unsure about the Big Mistake that EMI made putting out the 50Th anniversary of The Beatles "Love Me Do" in 2012....I'll put that to rest by offering the 2 versions in this Auction....To make it simple....The Beatles recorded their Big Hit at EMI Studio's with Beatles Drummer Ringo Starr...The sound Engineer wasn't happy with Ringo's kick so he told Beatles producer George Martin about it.....George Martin called Session Drummer Andy White to sit in to do recording over...on this recording Ringo played Tambourine....All these years Beatles Fans have been listening to the Andy White version on 45's, LP's etc......So in 2012 for the 50th Anniversary they wanted to celebrate by putting out the Ringo version On Drum Recording and EMI approved it.....WELL...They got it wrong!   They pressed the Andy White on Drums Version....and released it...And about 10,000 copies got out and had a recall not to be sold (Almost Sounds like The Butcher album lol)  A few weeks later they REISSUED the Ringo on drums version. Now A lot of Beatles Fans are confused on how get the RARE Version compared to the reissue. The easiest way to tell is by the word Parlophone on the Record Label will be a Dark Gray( where as the Reissue is more Silvery. Please view picture with explanation of catalog number.
