THE BEATLES*LOVE ME DO*P.S. I LOVE YOU*1962*PARLOPHONE*ORIGINAL PRESSING*EX-/VG-
This is one of a number of records that I have for sale at the moment so please take a look at the others on my eBay shop, Past-Times Records and Collectables. Description: - For sale an original rare mis-pressing UK Beat single from The Beatles titled ‘Love Me Do’ b/w ‘P.S. I Love You’, please refer to the photos. This scarce Beatles mis-pressing is for sale just as it is celebrating its 50 year anniversary. As you can see from the photos, this is the very early format label, that is without the "Made in Great Britain" text and with a missing bracket ")" after the song writing credit for "P.S. I Love You". This printing fault was present only on the 1st batch of just a few hundred pressings and as soon as the missing bracket was noticed it was corrected for the second and subsequent pressings. You can view my other items that I have for sale by clicking on the ‘View Sellers Other Items’ link at the top of the page or go my shop link ‘Past-Times Records and Collectables’. Please remember to add me to your favourite sellers. Label: - The record is on red Parlophone Records, catalogue number 45-R 4949, this is an original UK release from ©1962; matrix numbers 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N. The letters ‘M’ at 9 o'clock and ‘L’ at 3 o'clock are embossed around the A-side pushout centre. The B-side pushout centre has no embossed lettering. Both sides of the record are machine stamped with the ‘M’ above ‘P’ above 'ZT' tax code and a '1' at 9 o’clock, proving that the 1st master lacquer was used in production; it has GL at 3 o’clock on both sides, the record sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sleeve: - This scarce pressing comes in its period correct original 'Type A' "Striped" straight-top sleeve, tape on one edge. The sleeve has the boxed Parlophone "£" logos on both sides at the bottom of the sleeve. Condition: - The condition of the record is as follows: - A side EX- condition; B side VG- condition. Labels are nice & clean but there are signs of wear around the centre hole. This would make a lovely addition to any ones collection. Postage Instructions: - Please note that if the record sells for over £50 then it will have to be sent special delivery or International signed for if sold out of the UK so in which case please wait for your invoice before making payment, thanks. Post & Packing charges are as follows:- Free - If you collect in person. UK - 2nd Class Post = £1.99 UK – Special Delivery = £7.00 Europe - Air Mail Small Packet = £3.50 Europe – International Signed For = £11.50 Rest of the World - Air Mail Small Packet = £4.50 Rest of the World – International Signed For = £12.50 The highest bidder is to pay for the postage charges. Please note that all records will be sent out in new special Mailers with two cardboard inserts, one each side of the record. Please make your payments in UK £’s by cheque, postal order or you can pay using PayPal free of additional charges. The goods will only be dispatched following receipt of the cleared payment.
