This auction is for the original 1964 picture sleeve of the Beatles recording of "Please Please Me" b/w "From Me To You" on Vee Jay 581. The 45 rpm record will also be included. but more on that later. The pic sleeve is in great condition! Surface has nice sheen with clean edges and corners, no seam splits, marks, writing, or tears. There is some over-all light surface wear and some light wear and minor creasing near the top from original handling. A great sleeve in VG+ condition! The 45 is the black rainbow label, oval logo. The record has been well played. Moderate gloss with lots of light surface scratches to go along with some larger visible scratches and some scuffs. Both sides play problem free with background noise thats actually not that noticeable considering the condition of the vinyl. The labels have no marks or writing, but have crease lines in a couple of spots, extending from the center hole. Label has moderate surface wear. I would give the record a "Good" rating only. The record would need upgrading down the line, so you should concentrate your bid on the sleeve, not the record!
