Description

THE BEATLES - REVOLVER ( ORIGINAL UK MONO FIRST PRESSING WITH XEX 606-1 MATRIX)

VINYL IS IN VERY GOOD+ / EXCELLENT CONDITION. SIDE ONE HAS SOME HAIRLINE SURFACE MARKS AND THERE ARE SOME VERY LIGHT CRACKLES ON THE RUN-IN GROOVES BUT THE SOUND IS CRISP AND CLEAR. THE SOUND IS EXCELLENT BUT I WOULD GRADE THIS SIDE AS VERY GOOD + DUE TO THE CRACKLES. SIDE TWO ALSO HAS SOME HAIRLINE SURFACE MARKS BUT I GRADE THIS SIDE AS EXCELLENT.

THE GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE LAMINATED FLIPBACK COVER IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THERE IS SOME FAINT YELLOWING TO THE WHITE OF THE COVER BUT THE SPINE AND EDGES ARE IN SUPERB, UNMARKED CONDITION AND THE FLIPBACK TABS ARE INTACT AND CLEAN.

THIS ALBUM WAS RELEASED ON PARLOPHONE RECORDS CAT. NO. PMC 7009.

THE MATRIX NUMBERS ARE: SIDE 1 XEX 605-2, SIDE 2 XEX606-1. THE STAMPERS ARE: SIDE 1 G @ 2 O'CLOCK, 1 @ 8 O'CLOCK

SIDE 2 THE STAMPER @ 3 O'CLOCK IS DIFFICULT TO READ BUT LOOKS TO BE TWO LETTERS. THE STAMPER 1 IS @ 9 O'CLOCK.

DUE TO ITS VALUE THIS ALBUM WILL BE SENT BY SIGNED FOR DELIVERY IN THE U.K. AND INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.

Grading

I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Packaging

Items are sent out in high quality, professional record packaging, with stiffeners for protection.
