THE BEATLES - REVOLVER
This exquisite UK mono pressing dates from August 1966 on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text, include & have 'Gramaphone Co...' rims.
An 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label
Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2N & XEX 606-2N
Stamper codes: 6 RRD & 7 RAG
Vinyl weight: 174g
Housed in an exceptional 'Ernest J. Day' printed cover with a small 'mono' front indicator.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex...' poly-lined inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: NEAR MINT
A 1st-class pair showing with no more than a few faint spindle trails around each centre hole but only under a strong light (See Photos)
Vinyl : VERY NEAR MINT
Pristine, factory-fresh playing surfaces which are unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight, with just a couple of barely visible wispy paper Removal lines/ hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine directly beneath halogen light.
AUDIO : NEAR MINT
Amazing sound quality throughout.
Cover: EX++
The Cover is EX++ looks like its been purchased recently let alone 55 years ago.
The high-gloss front panel is beautiful with no real scratching, disc impression, let alone any 'thumbnail' wrinkles or spine bends.
All corners are virtually unworn, even the most easily and frequently damaged lower right.
The exposed rear panel is nice and white & unblemished apart from smallest foxing and ringwear under strong light and all of the delicate flipbacks are undamaged.
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is clearly & fully worded.
