THE BEATLES - 'SGT.PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND' (UK MONO 1st Press!!!)
Rare!!! Sought after Original 1967 UK 1st Press on the Black/Yellow Parlophone Label of the 13-Track MONO LP with 'Sold in the UK' label text & 'THE GRAMOPHONE CO...' label text there is also the 'KT' Tax Stamp embossed across the spindle hole on side 2 label - Cat. No.PMC 7027 in a Fully Laminated - Internal Flipback - Full Colour Gatefold Sleeve Cover - The Cover Sleeve is in Excellent Clean and looked after Condition and shows very little signs of wear for it's 43 years of age - With the Original Insert Coloured Sgt. Pepper Cardboard Cut-outs in Mint Condition and Original Red/White Psychedelic Inner Sleeve - Vinyl visually on both sides have No Bad Scratches to see across surfaces this is is due to the Vinyl not being played excessively over the last 43 years because of this I will grade as Excellent condition Scratch Free Copy

The Vinyl: Visually on both sides of Vinyl look in excellent all round condition this is due to they were only ever being played lightly over the 43 years since I bought them New - On close visual inspection on Sides 1 and 2 they show No actual major scratches that can be seen only just the odd light feint hairlines and some light feint scuffs/wispy line traces on surfaces that have occured whilst removing vinyl from the inner-sleeves etc On audio playback assessment there are No skips,jumps or repeats and shows No other annoying audio noise distortions during playback only on the occasion when the very quiet tracks are playing and on run ins inbetween tracks that you may get some very light crackle for a second or two but nothing of any consequence that spoils your overall enjoyment of this exceptional Album - All Labels are in excellent clean unmarked condition with very little spindle hole/tracks wear being that evident on any of the sides (check photos in gallery) - Vinyl still has all it's Original lustre and Jet black high glossy shiny sheen
On the recent playback assessment the Records still plays Outstanding with all it's Original and dynamic driving stereo audio sound with brilliant crystal clear clarity along with the fantastic full stereo production that would fill any room Just as you would expect from an early 1st Pressing!!!
The Front/Back of Covers/Spine: The Garrod & Lofthouse Sleeve is generally in a Excellent all round condition with Internal Flipbacks totally intact crisp and clean with nice straight edges - Total sleeve Laminate on Cover is in excellent condition and Shows No Laminate lifting at all to the outside or inside of the cover only some minor peeling along the spine that has caused some wear across the middle of written text (see gallery photos) Shows very minimal discolouration on cover outside and inside still shows very much the Original shiny multi-colours on all sides of cover being still nice clear sharp bold colours - NO Ringwear,NO Indentations,Tears,Splits,ink Marks or Stains - With only light minimal laminate creases across the cover and edging and minimal edge and corner bump wear that has been obtained during the storage process over it's 43 year lifetime Overall still a Great looking collectable copy!Labels: On examination it' has only shows very light wear with a few spindle trails evident - Both Labels are Clean and spotless in condition with NO ink marks,blemishes or any other wear or tear
Inner Sleeves: The Original Red/White sleeve with 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' & 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' text on bottom right hand side of sleeve is some what disappointing and grades probably a Good to VG in condition (upgrade replacement on this item would make the complete Album package ever more rare and collectable) it has some age discolouration also wear and tear with both side middle seam splits with some creasing and small minor tears and nicks on top opening edge

I'm currently starting to sort through some of my other Rare vinyl records that have been played only a few times - which are mainly UK 1st PRESSINGS - which are all in Excellent to Mint Condition - Mainly due to Covers/Vinyl have been kept in plastic covers for all of there Life Span and this is one of them

This will give any interested bidders a good indication of the quality and overall standard of my LPs
Record Collector's Grading System:
MINT: The Record is in Brand New Condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The Cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet,booklet or poster are in Perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be MINT.
EXCELLENT: The Record shows some signs of having been played,but there is very little lessing in sound quality. The Cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or Creasing.
VERY GOOD: The Record has obviously been played many times,but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the Cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.
Albums will be Protected in Plastic Covers - Bubble Wrapped - Packed Securely in High Quality Cardboard Record Box Mailers - With Fragile/Handle With Care Labels Stuck on to Help Prevent Any Damage - Never Had Any Buyer Complain of Damage to any of my Records on Arrival so far!!!
