Description
Yesterday and Today (also rendered as "Yesterday" ... and Today) is a studio album released in the summer of 1966 by Capitol Records. It is known for its original and alternative covers. This particular cover is the alternative "Trunk" cover. According to Wikipedia, this was the 10th Beatles album released by Capitol and their 12th overall release. It contains 11 tracks and includes the hits "Yesterday", "Nowhere Man" and "Day Tripper". The recording up for bid is a compilation in stereo. It is a first pressing from Capitol's Scranton pressing facility. The album cover is original and shows signs of moderate wear with a 3 and 3/4" split seam on the bottom edge and a1/2" split at the bottom corner of the title edge. There is very mild disc wear on the front and back covers. There are no other tears or split seams and no markings or discoloration. The paper inner sleeve is original and the recording is enclosed in an anti static vinyl sleeve for dust protection. The recording is clean and tested using Audacity. There are no skips, but there in one "click" at the beginning of Track 1 (And Your Bird Can Sing) on Side 2. All remaining tracks are clean with only mild surface noise that does not affect the listener's experience. The record surfaces show no scratches, scuffs or abnormalities. The labels are intact and Side 2 has the initials of the orginal owner (me) along the edge.
