Description
Increasingly rare greatest hits album by The Beautiful South. Go Records 828 572 - 1.
The matrix numbers for both sides are stamped 828 570 - 1. I do not know if all copies were like this or if this is a mis-press. The LP was sent to me from a record club on the day of release so may be a unique number to them?
Condition-wise there are some creases to the top and bottom corners of the cover which should be visible in the photos, otherwise the cover is in very good condition, including the spine.
The vinyl does have some hairline scratches and play marks but nothing that detracts from the playability except for a deeper mark on Side A, Track 5 which is heard as a repeated click for about 10 seconds. The rest of the album plays very well.
The LP has only ever been played on high end equipment such as Linn or Michell but has not been used for some years so may benefit from a professional clean.
