All records are graded visually under normal lighting.

Record gradings are as follows.

MINT-record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and other items present such as lyric sheet, posters etc are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT-record shows some signs of having been played, but there is is very little, if any, lessening in sound quality. Could have very faint surface marks or very faint minor scratches or finger marks. No defects visible under normal lighting. Cover and other items might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD-record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and light scratching. Normal wear and tear on cover and extra items, without major defects.

GOOD-record played so much that sound quality is deteriorated. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, discolouration etc.

FAIR-record is just playable, displays considerable surface noise and may even jump. Cover and contents are torn, stained and/or defaced.
